Gammy's Hope

Last night I finished Gammy's Hope aka Christine's Rose Garden. It is so very beautiful. However, apparently I made a mistake in the very center section that I didn't notice until I pinned it out for blocking. Oh, well.............it is still beautiful. I have enough yarn to make a Baby Surprise Jacket and some matching little Saartje Booties.

The finished size is 37" x 45". For those inquiring minds out that. :)

Peggy,

It truly came out lovely. Mine is not quite done. Still have 28 rows to go counting the two garter rows.

I don't know where you made the mistake. It's not noticeable at all. The blanket turned out beautiful! I will definitely have to make some of these. We have two teachers that are pregnant right now!

Lovely!

And, for the great KAL enabler, there is a "murdered by lace" KAL starting on Ravelry.........:)

Gorgeous! I think your center deviation is your own personal thumb print. It's not like us knitters can write our names at the bottom of our works of art like artists do. I love the colors.

It's beautiful. No one could be hopeless with that nearby!

I think I can see what you call an error, but to me it just looks like part of the pattern.. Just to allow my OCD to creep in I would turn it the other way 180 degress then it is absolute perfection. Beautiful work

Peggy,
Wow! Gammy's Hope is just lovely. You really have become a true lace knitter, and in such a short period of time.
I just don't know where you get the time.....
