Gnashing Of Teeth

After much sweat, cursing and gnashing of teeth I have completed Clue 1 of the Mystic Waters KAL. It is going to be so pretty. I love the design which is to take in various aspects of water. Once it is completed and wet blocked the yarn will "bloom" and be even prettier. I also included another picture attempting to catch the actual color. Many commented about the shawl being black where it is more of a black/blue with some greenishness. Knit Picks' Alpaca Cloud in Midnight. Clue 2 comes out tomorrow!!!!!

Now I'm off to get caught up on Secret of the Stole. :)

Hmmm-kinda glad I didn't sign up ;~) I had enough of the sweat, etc getting all the kids' winter clothes out of the attic this morning.

I'm still working on Mystic Waters. I've stopped with SotS, but will continue transcribing there. I don't know if I'll be caught up by tomorrow (and have to transcribe that one too), but I'm giving it a good try.

Yours looks beautiful.

It's certainly lovely.
Is that a handmade quilt on the bed?

Your shawl is looking wonderful!! I gave up on the Alpaca Cloud... it was giving me fits! But I started over with "Lost Lake" Shadow, and have completed clue 1, even added beads! Clue 2 comes out soon! WooHoo!

Mystic Waters is stunning in your black yarn. Of course, I wonder how my new lace yarn would look in that pattern. I like seeing so much more of all its intricacies. It is simply gorgeous!

Your knitting continues to amaze me! Not only your skill but the love you put into each stitch is obvious. I don't know how you do it but you always make time to praise everyone else's work, spread your love around and yet you still have time to create such prettiness too! Thank you for being you and for sharing too!
