The Attorney & The Harlot

For the last three days I've been working for the attorney. It is a pretty sweet set-up. I only work when his Admin Asst has to be off. I make coffee, drink coffee, eat the snacks he keeps the office kitchen stocked with, although this time they didn't have any diet cola, gonna have to bring that up. Lets see, oh yeah, I answer my email, update my blog, check out Ravelry and knit, knit, knit. I do answer the phone, make appointments and greet clients. But my day is primarily taken up doing all the other stuff. AND I get paid for doing it.

Whilst "working" at said location I completed Clue 3 of Gammy's Hope (Christine's Rose Garden). This baby afghan is so pretty, I really love it and this is one pattern I am sure I will knit again. To the left is a picture showing clue 3 and to the right is a picture of the edge.

I am so excited, tomorrow morning I am getting up early and heading up to Louisville to meet Tabitha, Emma Belle's mommy, and her friend, Sonya. From there we are heading to Lexington for a day of yarn store shopping, eating and then we are will be attending the book debut of the Yarn Harlot's newest book at Joseph Beth. It is going to be such fun. But one of the things that I am most excited about is......there are going to be several ladies there I have met on-line via the various KALs I have or am taking part in and we have made plans to meet!!!!!!! I may be more excited about that than everything else. I'm taking the camera so I can share it all with you.

Don't forget to take your knitting when you meet the Harlot. :)

You are going to have so much fun meeting the knitters from the internet! Everyone is so much fun online--getting to meet them in person will be so much better!!!! Have a wonderful time!

If you ever get tired of that job of yours, send it my way :). Maybe, when I get into your neck of the woods, you can introduce me to some real live knitters too.

Your Rose Garden Baby Blanket is beautiful. I started working on that one also but afraid I will run out of yarn. What size yarn and how much did you use? The color of yours is great.
