Today I took Emma Belle and my sister, Sheila, to see "The Order Of The Phoenix." It was my second time seeing it. It was just as good as the first time. Maybe better since I've read "Deathly Hallows." I did cry this second time. Anyways, all the way there I was ranting and raving about the stupid people not moving fast enough or just sitting there when the light had turned green. Listen people, when I'm sitting at a red light, I may be knitting but my foot is on the gas ready to go. There ain't no sense in not being ready to hit it as soon as the light turns green. I just don't understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the way home I saw someone on the side of the interstate with car trouble. Before you get your panties in a wad, someone else was already there helping them, okay? Anyways again, when I saw them I said, "Bless their heart, they're having car trouble." Emma Belle said, "Gammy, why are you nice to some people but not to others? Is it just the stupid people you are mean to?" Hmmmmmmmmm, makes ya think huh?

That is so funny! It reminds me, yesterday I was driving with Ava, we had this GOOBER in front of us and I said "What the heck, come on dude!!" A little later we stopped at a red light and Ava leans forward and says "What the heck, come on dude!" Those little ears hear everything!
Hee heee! Wasn't she scared of the movie? I just finished the Deathly Hallows Tuesday. What a good read. I'm in mourning over the end of the series!
This is funny! Just recently my mother mentioned how horrified she was when we acted out her behavior in the car. Every bad word, every gesture--we remembered it all and could mimic it as adults! What's worse? When I least expect it, when I'm frustrated in the car? I hear my mother's bad vocabulary coming out of my mouth!
Peggy, Peggy, sounds like we need to get together, do some spinning, have a cup of tea, and realize just how fortunate we really are. Those "something's wrong or something's missing", yucky feelings are frustrating when trying to figure out where they are coming from.
We all get a turn to feel out of wack. Yours is just a longer turn. And yes kids are very very astute and listen to every little thing. So we better watch out.
Amazing what our little ones observe - my children have been a great reminder to keep myself focused on the Lord!
Peggy, I am pretty new to this knitting thing, but I had a question. The m3 is so lovely - do you know if the pattern will be for sale when the group is done? Question 2 - have any time for a beginning knitter to pick your brain (and needles) in person some time? Traceyky at gmail dot com
I'm the same way with extra people in the house. No myself at all / very short fuse! No patience with stupid stuff, but lots of loving attention for my nephew and nieces. Go figure.
And I got to go see Order of the Phoenix again too! This time with my mom and SIL. It was excellent, especially having just read Deathly Hallows, made me cry!!
